THE SMASH BENEFIT

Our incredible, vibrant community comes together for an unforgettable evening every November to raise funds for SMASH, a nonprofit dedicated to providing access to free and low-cost healthcare to our region's musicians. The Seattle Times hails the SMASH Benefit as “one of Seattle’s best new concert traditions," generating 30% of SMASH's annual funding. This sell-out event is more than a celebration of music icons, it is a powerful reminder of the unity and resilience of our local music scene.

At the annual SMASH Benefit, we pair legacy musicians with local up-and-comers to pay tribute to music icons. Past performers include Dave Matthews, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, Ayron Jones, Duff McKagan, Allen Stone, Ben Gibbard, Corin Tucker of Sleater-Kinney, Mike McCready, Courtney Taylor-Taylor of the Dany Warhols, Thunderpussy, The Black Tones, Zan Fiskum, The Smokey Brights, Shaina Shepherd, Shelby Earl, Small Paul, Naked Giants, Erik Howke of Portugal The Man and many more.
