VOLUNTEER CALL FOR DENTAL PROFESSIONALS
Are you a dentist, hygienist, or dental assistant who loves music? Help us care for our local area musicians by volunteering at our member’s only dental clinic.

Volunteer with SMASH
SMASH is currently looking for volunteers who want to give their time on an ongoing basis. Do you have some skills you think we could benefit from? Please fill out our volunteer application form and we will get back to you. Can't volunteer on an ongoing basis? CURRENT NEEDS:

EVENT PLANNER/PRODUCTION LEAD: SMASH seeks an event planner to help us with our fall fundraising event at The Moore Theater.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION: SMASH is seeking an office administration volunteer who can help us with small projects.
I AM A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER
As a doctor, you already know how important your work is. A person cannot achieve their full potential if they are not healthy. Our goal is to help keep musicians healthy by providing them access to free and low-cost healthcare through a network of volunteer providers just like you.
SMASH Provider Network Overview:

Most healthcare providers in the SMASH network agree to see a number of SMASH members annually based on availability.

Providers let member service know how many members can be seen per month, and we manage/track member utilization to provider capacity.

SMASH providers offer a discount for their services because our members fall under the threshold to be considered low-income in King County.

We direct members to various providers depending on a clinic's location, availability, and specialty.

When a member is referred to you to make an appointment, they will let your team know they are a SMASH member at that time.

A SMASH Program Manager will then coordinate with the member, you, or your office on billing and any necessary next steps after the initial exam.

Some providers prefer to run a day clinic instead of, or in conjunction with, annual patients.

Join the SMASH Board
We are a small but mighty organization, that relies on our board to both set the strategic direction for us, and also dig in and act as a “working board.”
We ask our board members to:

Serve as an advocate for SMASH by publicizing the value and work of SMASH

Attend and participate in all board meetings, committee meetings, and sub-committee meetings (if applicable).

Attend Board Orientation and the Annual Strategic Planning Retreat

Assist in fundraising activities, as needed

Make a meaningful, personal financial contribution to the annual campaign and fundraising goals
