ABOUT SMASH

At SMASH, our mission is to get and keep our local musicians healthy. We aim to provide a foundation of health that allows musicians in our community to not only survive but thrive. When you’re struggling with your health, it's hard to put one foot in front of the other, let alone create music. Our goal is to provide a safety net that allows musicians to focus resources on other key living expenses, including their musical craft. In turn, our local musicians enrich our local culture, economy, and lives.

Your gift can shape the future of our city's music scene.

Behind the scenes of your favorite albums, far too many musicians are struggling to afford the healthcare they need to stay healthy and make music. When basic needs like routine physicals, mental health support, dental care, and glasses are often inaccessible, it is extremely difficult to sustain a music career. And without help, the music that has defined our city for decades could fade.
